The Work
In choosing a career path, I looked for a way to incorporate things I was passionate for:1. music
2. travel
3. spreadsheets
(only a slight exaggeration)
After attending my first live concert as a pre-teen, the energy level and electricity in the venue were enough to make me want to come back for more… and figure out a way to get behind the scenes.
In an attempt to back my new founded desire with higher education (and see more of the country), I moved from the comforts of the Midwest to the fast paced East Coast, where I studied Public Relations at Emerson College while interning in radio promotions. After a brief relocation to the West Coast, I began seeking out opportunities on the road.
Precision and attention to detail are two things that have always come naturally to me. It seemed only fitting that I would be able to find my niche in this creative industry through handling the organizational and logistical aspects of music touring.
Starting out coordinating Corporate Sponsorship on various tours, I finally achieved my goal of Tour Management, while traveling the world. My duties include making sure the boss(es) get information on where they’re going and what they’re doing, while helping ensure that life away from home is as comfortable as possible. In turn, they are able to offer the same energy level on stage that initially captivated me. DOWNLOAD RESUME
